An Intimate Maternity Session in December

It was December and freezing, but this mom had a vision. We wanted intimacy and a celebration of pregnancy and that beautiful belly. This session was different than my family maternity sessions, and creatively it pushed me in the best way. We met a few hours before sunset at Green Meadows in Marietta, Georgia. The mood was quiet and intentional. We had a plan and knew we had to move quickly to execute because of the cold. What happened next was a mix of playful interactions, gentle posing suggestions so mom and belly looked their best, and golden light meeting in the meadow.

As a maternity photographer in the Atlanta area, I’m always drawn to sessions that feel authentic with strong composition and connection. I felt this session embodied that and I’m proud to share it here.
